The new connection will be issued based on the type of use of the electricity, whether for general home use, business operational use or for powering industrial machinery for production.

Documents Required for the New Connection:

Some of the Documents are needed to apply for the new electricity connection. Here is the list of all the documents that are required:

  1. Copy of CNIC (Of the applicant).
  2. Proof of Ownership (document that proves the legal ownership or possession).
  3. No Objection Certificate (NOC), if applicable, from the housing society or authority.
  4. Wiring Test Report (signed and stamped by a licensed Electrician stating the safety of the internal wiring).
  5. Undertaking Form (duly signed and stamped by the applicant, and you can get it from HAZECO offices).
  6. Sketch or Map of Property (Showing where the connection is being applied for).
  7. Neighbor's Electricity Bill (Optional, a neighbor's electricity can be helpful for establishing the location or feeder line).

1. Visit the Hazeco office or apply online:

It's up to you whether you want to apply online or offline. Online application is very easy and if you want to do it manually you can visit any nearby office of the Hazeco and form the fill, If you proceed with online application visit enc.com.pk .

2. Fill the Form:

To get started, download or pick up the HAZECO New Connection Application Form from the nearest HAZECO office or on our official site. Please check that you complete all relevant information, including:

  • Type of connection (Home, commercial or industrial)
  • What is your estimated load requirement (kW or kVA)?
  • Property and ownership details
  • Applicant and witness information
3. Attach Required Documents:

Attach all the necessary documents with the form.

4. Submit the Application form:

Upload your form through the online ENC Portal or submit the form to the Sub-Divisional office (SDO).

5. Site Visit by HAZECO Officials:

After you submit your application, a team from HAZECO (similar to GEPCO’s process) will conduct a site visit to verify the details provided in your application. During this inspection, they will:

  • Confirm property ownership and location
  • Assess the actual load requirements based on usage
  • Ensure that the wiring and installation comply with safety standards
6. Demand Notice Issuance:

Once the site inspection is completed and approved, HAZECO will issue a Demand Notice. This document includes the amount you need to deposit for the connection, based on your load requirements and connection type.

The payment must be made at a designated bank, and a copy of the paid receipt should be submitted to HAZECO to proceed with the connection process.

7. Payment of Demand Notice:

Once the payment is done for the new connection the receipt is given to you to save it as a proof.

8. Meter Installation:

Once the payment is verified by the team it will proceed with the electricity meter installation.
