Switch to LED bulbs and inverter ACs or fridges to save up to 80% energy. Look for energy-star ratings when buying appliances.
Switch off fans, lights, and TVs when not needed. Unplug chargers and microwaves — they consume standby electricity.
Use AC at 26°C and turn on ceiling fans to circulate cool air. This significantly reduces your cooling cost.
Open windows and curtains during the day. Rely less on lights and fans when fresh air and sunlight are available.
Run washing machines, irons, and heaters during night hours to avoid peak-rate charges.
Keep track of monthly units. Sudden spikes may indicate faulty appliances or excessive use.
